Al Merat, from the Arabic “Rahal al Merat”: women’s village. Name of the first Arab settlement in the countryside of Santa Ninfa. Inspired by the large number of women who live there. Al Merat, Nero d’Avola vinified in purity. Refinement and complexity enhanced in French oak barrels for an average ageing period of 12 months, giving it an global appeal

NAME: DOC SICILIA

COLOUR: Ruby red with hints of purple

NOSE: Intense hints of sweet spices, violets, rhubarb, tobacco, graphite, humus and ripe plum

TASTE: Full and vigorous, soft, fine tannins and delicate freshness

PAIRING: Pork stew with apples and plums

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
